working some things out. feel conflicted between two ways of working, one part of me is naturally attracted to more ‘earthy’ materials, like dirt, wood etc, then there is a curiosity with a more flashy side, lighting, pinks, neon, trickery, but to work on both these ‘styles’ will only appear as confusion, i think. but, i want to do both things equally and have plans in both ‘styles’, feels frustrating. also, read over some plans i made on the plane back from Finland, laughing at my ambition, art is expensive.
