*extremely triggering, graphic sexual content
this is the video that this post was about and which youtube deleted, i’ve gotten a lot of messages asking for the link to the video so i finally re-uploaded it, i done this in october 2012.
trekked back and forth to the studio with six bags of turf with the help of my friend jamie (jamiekane.tumblr.com) and spent the day filling my space with it.
lots more to be added to the space, some more objects on the ground, small scrawly monoprints of lapwings on the walls, a tv at the edge with a video on a loop with speakers and nice sounds of water, birds, wind
feel totally jaded by this, felt like i would be more satisfied when it was done, constant thought of ‘wish i was a better thinker’, i know i just have to keep pushing things to their limit instead of moving on quickly, this project is especially draining because it was about revisiting my strongest memories, i naturally gravitate toward the ‘serious’ side of art, which unfortunately can be embarrassingly indulgent and tedious, all that introspection, every second of the day
